I came to know the Lord when I was 15 years old. The first 23 years of my Christian life I didn't like to pray and it wasn't a priority. Sadly, I considered prayer to be a waste of time (even though I wouldn't say it out loud). Around 2014, I became desperately discontent with my prayer life. Not knowing what to do or how to make myself want to pray, I did the one thing I didn't like doing. I prayed. I decided that I would take Jesus up on his promise in Luke 11 and ask for the Holy Spirit every day of my life until I died. Within a few months, things started to change. I started to change. I started to like praying and walking with God! Since then my prayer life has continued to grow deeper and longer. This personal prayer journey led me to start Streets of Prayer and formalize Vision 2030.

We are praying for God to raise up a billion believers to proclaim the Gospel and cover every person and every place in persistent prayer by 2030.

Every person who dies without believing in Jesus will be seperated from the goodness of God and suffer under His wrath for ever and ever. (John 3:36, Rev. 20:15)

God wants every person to repent and believe in Jesus so that they will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (John 3:16, 1 Tim. 2:1-4)

God wants every place to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord so that Jesus will come back soon! (Hab. 2:14, Matt. 24:14,Rev. 22:20)

By the grace of God, we can accomplish Vision 2030 by taking 5 Simple Steps that any believer, even a child, can start right away without any resources, skills or training.

Step 1 - Spirit
Step 2 - Vision
Step 3 - Seven
Step 4 - Walk
Step 5 - Multiply

Pray daily to be filled with the Holy Spirit to help you enjoy walking with God, proclaim the Gospel and to be faithful unto death. We can't accomplish anything without the help of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 11:13, Eph. 5:18, Matt. 24:13, Psalm 127:1, Zech. 4:6)

Pray daily for God to raise up a billion believers to proclaim the Gospel and cover every person and place in persistent prayer by 2030 so that Jesus will come back soon.

Pray daily for 7 unsaved friends to hear the Gospel and believe. Keep praying for them until you die or they die.

Walk the same place every week while praying that it will filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. If walking is not an option...you can drive it, partner with someone who can walk it or simply pray over the map.

Invite 12 followers of Jesus to join you and start a prayer family that gathers weekly to pray for your people and places. Empower them to perform the 5 Simple Steps just as you are doing.(Matt. 18:19-20)

Everything about Vision 2030 comes from a desire to give God all the glory and to seek God as our only true reward. All of our prayers hang 100% on the promise that if we ask we will receive, especially when we ask in agreement with God's word and with each other.

"Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!" (Psalm 115:1)

"And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened." (Luke 11:9-10)

"Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." (Matt. 18:19)

We believe that we can receive nothing except it is given from Heaven and that nobody can come to Jesus unless the Father draws them. We pray because God wants us to pray and He hears our prayers. (John 3:27, John 6:44, Luke 11:1-13)

Over 300,000 people leave this world every day. 7 out of 8 of them will likely leave this world without Jesus. Some of them will be people we know. Shouldn't we be contending for their soul in prayer? Is there anything more important or urgent than this?

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36)

What might happen if we come together to cover every person and place in persistent prayer?

What better way to show Jesus we love Him than by persistently asking for every person to love and worship Him?

What better way to show our neighbors that we love them and that Jesus loves them than by persistently praying for them until they come to know Jesus?

What better way to obey the Great Commission than by persistently praying for every person to become a disciple of Jesus? (Matt. 28:16-20)

What better way to bless the place we live than by persistently praying for it until it experiences the knowledge of the glory of the Lord?

What better way to put the power of God on display than to ask for something this big and watch God do abundantly more than we could ever think or ask? (Eph. 3:20-21)

What better way to exercise our faith than by persistently asking for God's will to be done and never giving up? (Luke 11:1-10)
